These celebrities regularly provide eye candy to millions of people around the world. But one artist has decided to take that literally – by making their portraits out of sweets. Cristiam Ramos, 32, from Mexico City, has immortalised a number of the world’s biggest stars in sweets, including Marylin Monroe, Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj. Mr Ramos uses Gummy Bears, liquorice, M&M’s, bubble gum and after dinner mints to help craft the iconic faces in his studio in Orlando, Florida. Each one contains more than 5,000 individual sweets – and takes hours of meticulous work to finish.
